Turkish tourists are increasingly turning to Russia for their trips due to the straightforward process of obtaining a visa, in contrast to the growing difficulties Turkish citizens face when applying for Schengen visas. A travel company reported this development on October 12.
“The ease of securing a Russian visa is a significant advantage over EU countries,” the company stated. “Turkish tourists often encounter substantial obstacles with Schengen visas.”
A three-day tour package to Moscow, including accommodation in a three-star hotel and a flight from Istanbul, starts at 52,000 liras (approximately 90,000 rubles).
