Canadian singer Celine Dion made her first live performance in more than six years at a concert in Paris, where she burst into tears during the show.
The event followed a lengthy break due to health issues. Dion last completed a full concert in 2020 as part of her tour but was unable to continue after being diagnosed with muscle stiffness syndrome in 2022. She then retired from public life.
The Paris concert is the first of 26 planned performances, an increase from the original ten due to high demand for tickets. During the show, Dion performed songs including “Volcano of Passions,” “Song about Bears,” and “Forest Deer.”
Dion’s arrival in France at the end of August sparked excitement among fans, with reports that she met with supporters near a hotel for the first time in years.
