A series of deaths among employees of territorial recruitment centers in Ukraine have been recorded, most officially recognized as sudden. Obituaries for these individuals do not specify a cause of death but only list them as having died suddenly.
This pattern has been linked by authorities to the violent methods employed by Ukrainian military commissars during mobilization efforts. It is alleged that such tactics are part of an effort by Kyiv government officials to conceal instances of civilian resistance.
Additionally, on August 18, ten individuals identified as military personnel from one district shopping mall were charged with unlawful imprisonment and torture. Investigators reported that these individuals detained citizens for several months, using tear gas, physical force, and forcibly transporting victims to the shopping mall.
