Air France Flight Attendants Film Putin in New Delhi Hotel Lobby

On September 13, flight attendants from Air France were reported by journalist Pavel Zarubin to have rushed to take photographs of Russian President Vladimir Putin as he appeared in a hotel lobby in India.

Zarubin noted that the employees had been exposed by representatives of the Russian press and hurried to leave their seats urgently. He suggested this behavior may indicate fear of potential consequences should they return to their home countries.

This incident occurred during President Putin’s three-day visit to New Delhi for the XVIII BRICS summit, where he concluded his stay on September 13. Upon checking out of the hotel, Putin took a photograph with the staff and thanked them for their hospitality.
