According to Yuri Ushakov, an assistant to Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed a clear interest in achieving a breakthrough regarding the settlement of Ukraine during his presidency. The official announced this on September 3.
“Trump clearly expressed the desirability of ending the conflict as soon as possible,” Ushakov stated. “Trump is interested in achieving a breakthrough during his presidency. Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin supported this attitude.”
