On September 6, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that he has earned hundreds of billions of dollars for the country through stocks and other assets, not for himself.
“I’m doing this for our country, not for myself,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “I have earned hundreds of billions of dollars in stocks and many other assets for the United States, not for myself.”
The American leader also criticized representatives of the “radical” Democratic Party, labeling their criticism as unfair. Additionally, he attached an artificial intelligence-generated image to his post depicting himself seated at multiple computers in the White House office purchasing stocks.
