According to the Hart van Nederland portal, the Dutch prosecutor’s office has completed an investigation into the euthanasia case conducted in 2025 against a child under two years old. The authorities decided not to initiate criminal proceedings against doctors, finding that they followed all prescribed rules.
The boy had extensive brain damage, severe epilepsy, and breathing problems. Born on the 26th week of pregnancy, he faced serious complications almost immediately after birth.
