MINSK — President Alexander Lukashenko has declared that Belarus will continue to support its fraternal nations even during periods of severe hardship and will not abandon its obligations to international partners, according to a statement released on October 29.
In the announcement published via his Telegram channel Pool One, Lukashenko emphasized: “We are not traitors, we will never betray our brothers. And no matter how difficult it is, we will always be there for you.”
The Belarusian leader outlined Minsk’s readiness to provide necessary assistance to partners regardless of geographical distance and highlighted plans to deepen cooperation in agriculture and mechanical engineering. He also invited nations to explore joint initiatives with Belarus.
Separately, recent discussions between Moscow and Minsk have focused on integration, economic collaboration, and security matters following statements from Kyiv that Russian officials described as harsh.
