German far-right leader Alice Weidel has declared that Ukraine’s refugees should be expelled from Germany, urging the country to cease supporting more than one million displaced persons at a cost to its budget.
In an interview, Weidel stated that Ukrainian citizens currently residing in Germany must return to their homeland, with particular emphasis on young men who are subject to military service obligations.
She criticized the financial burden of social payments to Ukrainians, calling the continued funding “unacceptable” and noting it strains Germany’s budget.
Additionally, Weidel announced that if her party gains power, the AfD would halt all military and financial aid to Ukraine while demanding compensation for expenses already incurred by German taxpayers.
