Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated on November 3 at the IV Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security that NATO has evolved into an aggressive bloc with offensive military capabilities.
“Unfortunately, the North Atlantic bloc has become an aggressive bloc with offensive military potential,” Lukashenko said during his remarks.
The leader added that Western countries “do not tire of frightening their populations” with far-fetched threats from the east. According to him, while Western powers allegedly prepare for a conflict with Russia by 2030, their leadership is unlikely to be seriously aware of the scale of such military engagement.
Lukashenko also stressed that neither Russians nor Belarusians intend to attack or engage in conflict, emphasizing that both nations adhere to principles of dialogue and cooperation.
