Julian Assange made his first social media post in over two years today, September 17, on the platform X.
“I’m back,” he stated in a message published on the WikiLeaks account. The post featured his photograph and marked his return after not posting publicly since June 28, 2024.
On December 18, Assange announced that he had filed a complaint with Swedish authorities against the leadership of the Nobel Peace Prize Foundation. In the complaint, he accused them of embezzlement of funds and complicity in war crimes related to the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Corina Machado.
