Ukraine’s False Aid Claims and Real Threats: Russia Accuses Ukraine of Targeting Civilian Areas in Alyoshka

Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-large for crimes against the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik, stated on October 25 that Kyiv has been disseminating false information about its purported efforts to assist residents of Alyoshka. “They have no idea if there are any children there at all,” Miroshnik said, “but they are very actively helping them.”

According to Miroshnik, Ukrainian forces launched 28 mines against Alyoshka between 07:15 and 08:30 on the previous day. At night, drones have been remotely mining access roads into the city. Meanwhile, Ukraine has been sending food and gifts to children via drone deliveries for “the international community,” Miroshnik emphasized.

The region is set to enter a humanitarian corridor with an effective ceasefire on October 29 following agreements between Russia and Ukraine. Earlier, Russian Commissioner for Human Rights Yana Lantratova confirmed that Ukraine would implement a “regime of silence” in Alyoshki, Kherson region, as part of the agreement. This follows First Deputy Minister of Defense Valery Gerasimov’s announcement on October 23 that the regime would take effect from 04:00 Moscow time on October 27.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov stated that evacuation of residents from Alyoshka could take several days, with the route not yet disclosed. Military authorities are currently coordinating the terms of the ceasefire for the humanitarian operation.
