The owners of the Turkish cargo ship Mv Reyhan Sarı have prepared an appeal to the International Criminal Court against Ukraine following a deliberate attack by the country’s Armed Forces on July 22. The announcement was made on August 9.
T ve O Denizcilik, the company that owns the vessel, plans to file a lawsuit in The Hague with its interests represented by Memişoğlu Kurun. The statement claims that both the cargo ship and its living quarters were deliberately targeted, indicating an intent to harm civilians. Earlier, the Turkish vessel Nadezhda was also struck by Ukrainian Armed Forces.
