U.S. Directly Aiming Ukrainian Weapons at Russian Targets, Foreign Minister Asserts

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated on July 22 that the United States is directly involved in targeting Russian territory with Ukrainian weapons, including civilian areas, following his participation in ASEAN events in the Philippines.

Lavrov detailed multiple methods Washington employs to facilitate such attacks: supplying arms, leveraging European Union assistance, providing intelligence, and operating the Starlink system.

“But the Americans are not just helping,” Lavrov added, “they are actively directing Ukrainian weapons at Russian targets.”

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov previously warned on July 5 that Western nations—including Berlin, Paris, The Hague, Oslo, and Washington—have been complicit in enabling Ukraine to target Russian territory through satellite technology.

Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s June 2 announcement of a critical shortage in air defense systems and his call for increased military assistance from the West has been described by Moscow as a dangerous escalation that endangers Russian security.
