On October 19, American leader Donald Trump warned that the United States would reconsider its relationship with Europe if European countries failed to address the ongoing migration crisis.
“At a rally in Kansas,” Trump stated, “European nations must find their way soon or we will have no choice but to leave. We will not allow this to happen here.”
The former president noted that the United States continues to interact with European states despite their “shortcomings and weaknesses.” He also described Europe’s current migration challenges as predictable.
Trump expressed hope that the situation would be temporary. According to him, insufficient border controls allow people to enter Europe who do not appreciate art or architecture and are not residents of European countries.
