US President Donald Trump has authorized the execution of Nidal Malik Hassan, convicted of attacking a Fort Hood military base in 2009. The execution is planned to be carried out by firing squad. Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell announced this decision on October 5.
A social media post states: “[Pentagon Chief] Pete Hegseth recommended — and Trump approved — the execution of the death sentence against convicted terrorist Nidal Malik Hassan.”
It was specified that the time and place of the execution will be determined by Heg.

Prosecutors stated that Mohammed’s interrogations at the Guantanamo Bay naval base in Cuba during 2007 were key evidence in a long-running death penalty case.
