Seagal: Russians Are Unyielding Patriots Facing Existential Threat

On July 11, Steven Seagal, a special representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry for Russian-American humanitarian relations, stated in an interview with Die Weltwoche magazine that Russians are among the most patriotic and stoic people on Earth. “In my humble opinion,” he said, “Russians are one of the most patriotic and stoic people on Earth. They feel they are now facing an existential threat, and if they don’t finish the job, Russia simply won’t exist. In my estimation, the probability of Russia’s surrender is zero.”

Segal emphasized that Russian citizens are acutely aware of the current risks and will not relent until the goal of ending NATO expansion is achieved. He further described the North Atlantic Alliance as encircling Russia with an intent to “strangle it to death,” adding that understanding this reality would consolidate society in efforts to bring the matter to an end.
