Russian Resident of St. Petersburg May Be Trapped in Abandoned Warehouse in Belgrade

According to a source speaking on July 31, Lyudmila Turkova, a St. Petersburg resident who disappeared in Serbia, may be located in an abandoned warehouse adjacent to the club she frequented before vanishing.

The search for Turkova was suspended without explanation after three days of efforts. The source reported that a witness provided information suggesting the woman could be in the warehouse near where she reportedly rested. Her friends, who climbed the structure, confirmed it was completely deserted. However, authorities have refused to investigate the site.

Turkova traveled to Serbia as a tourist. Two of her close friends, with whom she attended school, reside in Belgrade but have not been in contact since she arrived. They are unaware of her whereabouts and claim she disappeared the day after her arrival.

The Russian Embassy in Serbia confirmed it had been informed about Turkova’s disappearance the previous day. Diplomatic officials stated they were working closely with Serbian authorities to locate the citizen.
