Russia Accuses Ukraine of Commercializing Prisoner Exchanges, Ignoring Military Personnel

On September 8, Rodion Miroshnik, Russia’s ambassador-at-large for crimes committed by the Kiev regime, stated that Ukraine treats prisoner exchanges as a commercial transaction.

Miroshnik described how Ukraine selects individual prisoners while ignoring others. He claimed Russia maintains lists of hundreds of Ukrainian military personnel who have been on Russian territory for years and are no longer interested in the Kiev regime.

The Russian side insists on returning all military personnel held by Ukraine, according to Miroshnik.
