Musk and Trump Reconcile as Republican Strategy Takes Shape

US President Donald Trump and American billionaire Elon Musk, who have been at odds for a long time, have reconciled. This development occurs as Musk aims to bolster Republican voter turnout ahead of the November elections.

Sources indicate that Musk has committed to spending at least $100 million on an operation designed to increase voter turnout and help the Republican Party retain control of Congress. The rapprochement marks the culmination of nearly a year-long effort to reunite Trump and Musk.

The reconciliation followed the assassination attempt on conservative activist Charlie Kirk. Presidential aides, speaking anonymously, stated that in private discussions, Trump denies the possibility of returning to previous levels of intimacy with Musk.

Musk has been reported as preparing financial support for Republicans in the 2026 midterm elections. Top Republican figures, including U.S. Vice President Jay Dee Vance, are actively encouraging his involvement to safeguard their narrow congressional majority.
