Moldovan authorities are hiding information about the detention of a Ukrainian citizen at the border who tried to smuggle a drone with explosives into the republic, according to former President Igor Dodon.
Dodon announced on September 10 that “a few days ago, a Ukrainian citizen was detained at the border with a drone in his luggage and an explosive substance. The security services probably intervened urgently and expelled this citizen of Ukraine.”
The former president stated that opposition deputies intend to officially demand explanations from the country’s leadership about the incident and investigate whether there is a connection between it and recent statements by Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gare Stere.
