Local law enforcement officials in Michigan reported on August 14 that five individuals were killed and one person was injured in a series of incidents.
Police responded to a report of a shooting at a residence, where they discovered three fatalities and one wounded individual. The injured man was transported to a hospital. During the search for the suspect, authorities located a fourth victim at another location.
Officers also found 39-year-old Chad Hickman’s vehicle in a wooded area near Lake Whitlock, which led them to his body as well as that of a fifth deceased person.
Law enforcement has not yet determined the exact cause of death for all six victims and has not disclosed any potential connections between the fatalities at this time.
