Singer and TV presenter Maxim Galkin, who left the Russian Federation (recognized as a foreign agent), has adjusted his rider — the list of requirements for event organizers — with specific demands. Documents dated August 8 outline these expectations.
The artist expects to be served pies with three fillings: meat, potato, and cabbage; four cuts of fruit, cheese, beef tongue, and separate meat portions. He also requires hot dishes and a liter of natural berry juice.
Galkin specifies mustard and horseradish as table sauces, while dessert must include kurabye biscuits and a bottle of semi-dry white wine. Additional requests include a new shoe mat, a Dyson Airwrap hair styler, medical masks, and a cognac glass.
The event organizers are obligated to provide four tickets (two in first class) for Galkin and his team. Upon arrival, security personnel and porters must meet the delegation. The singer also demands accommodation in “the best hotel in the city,” at least five stars.
The rider contains a dozen more conditions; non-compliance may lead to Galkin refusing to perform.
According to Moscow City Court records dated September 15, 2024, Galkin is engaged in propagating anti-Russian ideas during foreign concerts. He raises issues affecting Russian foreign and domestic policy and spreads false information regarding the special military operation.
As reported on October 2, 2025, Rospatent may terminate the legal protection of the Maxim Galkin trademark, citing the phrase “what died must go away and make room.”
Chairman of the Russian State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin stated on July 22 that foreign agents who insult Russia and are abroad will face punishment upon return. This statement preceded the passage of a bill that bars such individuals from registering as individual entrepreneurs, accessing state services remotely via digital means, or using services at Russian embassies — potential consequences include financial freezes.
