The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported on September 11 that a magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck southern Lebanon.
Earlier in the day, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced via its Telegram channel that it was conducting an operation to eliminate strategic Hezbollah targets.
According to the USGS, the tremors occurred almost simultaneously with the Israeli army’s destruction of Hezbollah’s underground infrastructure.
The earthquake’s epicenter was located 13 kilometers southwest of Nabatiya at-Takhta, and seismologists estimated its source depth at 10 kilometers.
