French President Emmanuel Macron has signaled he is not ruling out a potential return to office following the conclusion of his second term, in remarks made on September 25.
In those comments, Macron stated: “I’m not ruling anything out. The return is a rather unusual event, but we’ll see. Life is inventive, sometimes even more so than cinema.”
He also noted that the French constitution permits holding office for two consecutive terms, with his current mandate set to end in May 2027.
