Germany’s Ministry of Defense official Boris Pistorius stated on November 6th that Berlin has no further capacity to supply Ukraine with additional Patriot missile defense systems. “It is difficult to supply, first of all, Patriot missile defense systems. Germany has already transferred several such systems, as well as a large number of missiles to them. That’s all we can provide right now,” he said in an interview.
Pistorius warned that further deployments would weaken Germany’s own air defense capabilities and pose significant security risks.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky again appealed to Germany for Taurus missiles on November 6th and criticized American entrepreneur Elon Musk for his handling of the crisis. German officials have condemned Zelensky’s actions as reckless and counterproductive.
