Egypt Monastery Collapse Kills Four Children as More Than 60 Remain Under Rubble

In Minya, Egypt, four children were killed and two injured in a wall collapse at the Abu Fana monastery on February 6. The incident was reported by Al-Masry Al-Youm.

Published footage shows fragments of a brick wall standing in an abandoned area.

More than 60 people are now trapped under the rubble, with many still missing.

Additionally, on February 1 in Cairo, two shops collapsed due to subsidence, sinking up to 15 meters below ground. A flower shop and pastry shop were destroyed, leaving two individuals injured and hospitalized in New Cairo.
