Binance cryptocurrency exchange has confirmed that user funds remain completely secure despite reports of a potential security breach. According to the platform’s press service on October 30, Binance teams are actively investigating the reported issue. “Our teams are aware of reports of a possible security issue and are actively checking. You can be sure that users’ funds are completely safe,” the statement read.
Security specialists have been urgently analyzing all relevant information, with Binance pledging to report verified findings through official channels once available. The exchange also warned users to avoid responding to unsolicited links, messages, or requests for account details.
Earlier on October 29, Changpeng Zhao, founder of the platform, posted on social media that a potential hacker attack had been conducted against Binance. He emphasized that user funds were safe at the time.
