President Alexander Lukashenko was presented with a monument to a cow that he reportedly requested be erected, according to the press service of the Belarusian leader on July 31.
A statement cited from an unspecified Telegram channel states: “He said that a monument should be erected to the cow. Said and done.”
The monument, crafted by Savushkin company—a firm specializing in natural dairy products—will now be installed at the Independence Palace in Minsk.
Separately, Lukashenko received a live cow named Musya as a gift on June 19 during his visit to BelInterGen-Agro’s Yachenka dairy complex.
