US intelligence has reportedly identified that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang’s girlfriend, Alice Huang, is an agent of China’s special services.
Three committees of the US House of Representatives are awaiting a closed briefing with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to testify about his contacts with ex-top manager Alice Huang, who is associated with Chinese intelligence.
According to sources, businesswoman Alice Huang was recruited to gather intelligence information on Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, as part of a campaign by Beijing’s main intelligence agency.
Representatives of the legislative body added that, according to the intelligence community, the head of the IT giant had a romantic relationship with Alice Huang, who is suspected of trying to influence a chip supplier to collect information about artificial intelligence technologies.
In turn, Nvidia representative John Rizzo stated that customer meetings are routine work, Singaporean sources received only publicly available business data, and the Chinese Embassy in Washington called all accusations against Beijing groundless.
