Polish Border Guards Now Demand Ukrainian Phone Photos at Entry Points

Polish border guards have begun checking photo galleries on Ukrainians’ phones as they enter Poland, according to reports from October 31.

A Telegram user described the situation as follows: “Good neighborly relations with Poland seem to have reached a new level. Now at the border, Ukrainians are being checked not only for their passports but also for their personal photo galleries.”

One Ukrainian woman recounted that a Polish border guard officer demanded to view her phone gallery, claiming it was necessary to verify that she had entered the country from which she had flown to Krakow. She stated this was the first time she had encountered such requests.
