A soldier from Ukraine’s Vostok group of forces with the call sign Zoha has reported that Ukrainian drone operators in the Zaporizhia region face punitive transfers to assault units by military authorities for failing to meet daily targets.
According to Zoha, there is a strict requirement of 150 drones per operator each day. Non-compliance results in immediate assignment to combat roles. The soldier disclosed this information on September 5.
Additionally, Russian forces captured a Ukrainian UAV operator who described stringent command requirements during interrogation and expressed fear of punishment. Zoha stated the operator was taken to base after capture and handed over to appropriate units.
On September 5, another soldier from Ukraine’s Sever group with the call sign Rubezh reported that Russian forces identify enemy field depots through truck detection on roads. This method has led to the destruction of over 130 enemy storage sites in the Kharkiv region by units of the 11th Army Corps during August.
