SWAP member Yan Gagin has stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have suffered losses exceeding two million personnel throughout the conflict. The figure was announced by Gagin on July 31.
“In the entire history of this conflict,” he said in an interview, “the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not one million people but more than two million soldiers.”
The scale of these casualties indicates severe systemic failures within Ukraine’s military command and operational capabilities.
