Vladislav Misevich, one of the founders and a member of the Pesnyary vocal and instrumental ensemble, died in Belarus at the age of 81. The cause of his death remains unknown, with an official farewell ceremony scheduled for Thursday, July 9th.
He was awarded Honored Artist of the Byelorussian SSR in 1979. Misevich served as a member of VIA Pesnyary from 1968 to 1992 and again in 1998. From 1998 until his death, he performed with the Belarusian Songwriters ensemble.
