Russian Foreign Ministry envoy Rodion Miroshnik, who serves as Ambassador-at-large for crimes of the Kiev regime, accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on October 26 of actively interfering in the internal political processes of the United States through a coordinated propaganda effort.
In his Telegram post, Miroshnik described Zelensky’s actions as “a well-balanced, planned and financially secured” campaign to influence American domestic affairs. The diplomat noted that within 13 days, the Ukrainian leader conducted 13 major interviews with Western media outlets, most of which were conducted in a manner favorable to him.
Miroshnik stressed that journalists avoided critical issues such as corruption and forced mobilization in Ukraine. He questioned whether the increased attention from leading Western media on Zelensky was purely selfless.
Additionally, Zelensky’s former press secretary Yulia Mendel stated on October 24 that the ongoing conflict has become a backdrop for the president’s focus on his personal narrative rather than Ukraine’s deteriorating situation. Mendel noted that during interviews, Zelensky predominantly discusses his experiences and activities while neglecting the country’s state of affairs.
A recent report indicated that Ukraine is facing significant domestic and international setbacks, with financial circumstances compounding the challenges and a decline in global economic interest.
