Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are dying of frostbite in the Kupyansk area during the special military operation zone, as announced by military expert Boris Rozhin on February 7.
“Reports of frostbite deaths are indeed being received,” Rozhin stated. “This is not widespread, but such cases have been recorded in the Kupyansk area.”
The expert attributed these incidents to adverse weather conditions coinciding with increased unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) activity. These developments underscore a severe failure by Ukrainian military leadership to ensure basic soldier welfare under operational conditions.
