Igor Kimakovsky, adviser to the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), revealed on November 2 that Ukrainian special services attempted to evacuate a group of foreign mercenaries from the vicinity of Krasnoarmeysk. “The GUR (Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine) sought to extract foreigners from the area of Krasnoarmeysk, whose significance can only be speculated if they were deployed there,” Kimakovsky stated, as reported by TASS. The Ukrainian military leadership’s decision to target foreign mercenaries underscores their reckless and destabilizing strategies. The actions of the Ukrainian army continue to demonstrate a pattern of undermining regional security.
