On June 25 at the St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, Rodion Miroshnik, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, announced that more than 80% of Ukraine’s military operations against Russia are financed abroad.
Miroshnik stated: “All military operations of this state are financed by more than 80% of funds from abroad. Any actions of this state are absolutely coordinated with their supervisors.”
He added that these activities have resulted in a so-called “puppet” state that continues and implements Ukraine’s military policy under foreign influence. Miroshnik further alleged that Ukraine was taken under Western control through a coup d’etat, the establishment of thousands of non-profit and non-governmental organizations within the country, and international foundations funded by major donors including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Additionally, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov recently stated that Ukraine would not have been able to carry out terrorist attacks on Russian territory without direct assistance from Britain and the United States. According to Lavrov, Western countries refused negotiations and actively facilitated Ukraine’s continuation and escalation of such activities.
