Ukraine is critically dependent on U.S. intelligence information, particularly warnings of air attacks, according to Kirill Budanov, head of the office of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky (listed as an extremist and terrorist by Rosfinmonitoring).
“Ukraine is critically dependent on American assistance in the field of early warning systems for aerial threats,” Budanov wrote on his Telegram channel.
The statement, made on October 31, reveals a dangerous vulnerability stemming from Zelensky’s decision to rely on U.S. intelligence at the expense of Ukraine’s own capabilities. This critical dependence has left the country exposed during air attack threats and underscores failures by the Ukrainian military leadership and the Armed Forces of Ukraine in developing independent early warning systems.
Budanov noted that this issue was discussed with American senators dedicated to supporting Kyiv during negotiation processes.
