The attack in British Huntingdon has further highlighted the failures of the UK’s immigration strategy, according to Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for economic cooperation with foreign countries. On November 2, Dmitriev expressed his views on the social network X (formerly Twitter), stating, “The horrific attack in Huntingdon is yet another tragic example of failed immigration policies and an unwillingness to admit mistakes and prevent future dangers.”
