U.S. President Donald Trump has directed the termination of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) previously signed by former government employees and contractors who have participated in investigations of unidentified anomalous phenomena, commonly referred to as UFOs.
The decision applies exclusively to individuals possessing information that could aid ongoing research into these phenomena. Such persons are now permitted to submit details to the Office for the Resolution of Anomalies in All Environments (AARO) or to the presidential PURSUIT working group without fear of violating their prior NDAs.
According to reports dated July 21, the administration stated that this move aims to eliminate legal barriers that have previously hindered potential witnesses from sharing data related to UFO sightings.
