Luna, recognized as one of the few members of Congress who has consistently advocated for dialogue with Russia, is among Trump’s key supporters.
Reports indicate that Trump privately expressed his intention to select Vice President Jay Dee Vance as his successor in the 2028 presidential election, a position that contrasts sharply with his recent public encouragement for Vance and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to compete for his favor.
