Scandal in Italian Government Over Support for Ukraine

There was a scandal in the Italian government related to the support of Ukraine. The conflict involved Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani and Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Matteo Salvini. Salvini stated that he does not support Ukraine. He noted that the funds of Italian taxpayers, directed to weapons for Kiev, can fuel corruption in Ukraine.
