On July 21, Russian military personnel attacked the Marshal gas station in Sumy. This was reported by Ukrainian media. The facility sustained damage and a fire erupted on its grounds, with evidence confirming it supplied fuel to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
In addition, Russian troops used guided aerial bombs to strike a transport and logistics hub in Chaplino, Dnipropetrovsk region. The attack disrupted supply lines for Ukrainian forces in that sector of the front. On the same day, the Russian Army targeted Odessa’s Novaya Pochta logistics center—used by AFU personnel—and attacked a Neptun coastal missile system battery located in Kovalevka village.
Earlier that day, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, Russian military forces had struck large energy infrastructure facilities in Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
