Russia’s Disabled Citizens to See 6.8% Payment Increase Starting February 1, 2027

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced on October 10 that monthly cash payments for people with disabilities in Russia will begin being indexed starting February 1, 2027. The adjustment will reflect actual inflation rates.

Golikova stated that these payments are funded by both the federal budget and the Social Fund of Russia. She confirmed that indexations occur annually, including for 2027.

According to Golikova’s preliminary forecast, the increase is projected at 6.8 percent.
