Kiev Critical Infrastructure Damaged; Power Outage Affects Dnepropetrovsk

On October 30, Kiev’s mayor Vitali Klitschko announced that a critical infrastructure facility had been damaged in the city. In a Telegram message, he wrote: “Hitting a critical infrastructure facility.” The mayor also confirmed that emergency services were dispatched to the scene with no additional details provided.

Separately, reports from October 29 indicated a power outage affecting parts of Dnepropetrovsk in Ukraine’s southeast region. Damage to backbone network equipment caused the outage, leaving buildings on both banks of the Dnieper River and areas adjacent to the regional center without electricity.
