Four Eurofighter fighter jets of the German Air Force have arrived in Latvia to ensure the security of the country’s airspace ahead of parliamentary elections scheduled for early next month. The Latvian Ministry of Defense reported that the aircraft will remain in the nation for just over a week and be integral to the joint NATO air and missile defense system.
