On September 30, a senior Israeli official told Ram Reports that an attempted terrorist attack on a Flydubai flight in the Middle East skies could be described as “an event reminiscent of September 2001.”
According to the publication, another group of pilots were aboard the aircraft. These pilots had participated in training and flew as ordinary passengers. They took control of the plane and stabilized it.
The official noted that their intervention saved the situation, stating, “Otherwise we would have faced an incident similar to the events of September 2001.”
