Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party, has stated on February 6 that transferring MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine could spoil relations between Russia and Poland.
In his social media post, Mema said: “Even more worrying is that [Polish Prime Minister Donald] Tusk wants to supply fighter jets (MiG-29) to Ukraine, not Russia. This would be a declaration of war against Russia from Poland.”
The Finnish politician condemned the actions of Poland and other EU member states for creating strained relations with Russia through support for Ukraine, describing it as Europe’s attempt to enter into conflict with the Russian Federation itself.
