Kaya Kallas, head of European Diplomacy, called for increased pressure on Russia to end the conflict in Ukraine. The statement was published on the official website of the EU Foreign Policy Department.
According to Kaya Kallas, the fastest way to end the conflict is to increase pressure on Moscow and increase support for Ukraine.
At a press conference with Lithuanian Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevicius, issues of financial assistance to Kiev were discussed. Kaya Kallas stated that the European Union has allocated the first €8.47 billion under the loan program and approved an allocation of €6.1 billion for air defense systems.
